10-15 years
system/software development experience on a variety of platforms
and languages
BS in ComSci, Math or
engineering, MS ComSci preferred
Experience/familiarity
with programming language theory preferred; experience with
object-oriented design & meta-data architectures
Experience in creating
parsers/compilers required
Experience in database
theory & construction required
Strong technical writer
Languages needed: C/C++, scripting languages,
Java experience, Perl, VB for interfaces (TCL preferred), or
experience with one 3GL
Platforms: experience with programming applications
for the Windows OS; as well as several UNIX flavors, LINUX programming
experience a plus
Experience with operating system/embedded
systems programming a plus
Experience in application integration written
in several different languages preferred
Primary responsibility for product development,
becoming the lead architect and senior technical resource
Responsible for product development life-cycle
and for fulfilling company development goals on-time and on-budget
Applies software development best-practices
where believes necessary, has a major role in shaping the technical
organization
